How to Keep Your Man Hands Soft

Cartoon: How to Keep Your Man Hands Soft

So listen. When you have kids, you wash your hands all the time. And they get dried out.

You have to change all these diapers. And if you care the slightest bit about hygiene, you wash your hands after dealing with the diapers.

And there are other reasons you are washing your hands more. Like baths. You’re giving lots of baths and washing your hands in the course of giving the bath.

And you’re washing more dishes, which makes sense, since your kids eat, and they are messy, so it turns out there are more dishes.

All of this is to say, as a parent, for whatever cumulative reason(s), your hands get all dried out. It’s uncomfortable. To talk about. But it’s also uncomfortable to feel. Skin all cracked and gross.

You start to look for solutions. One solution is to use moisturizer. This is a good start.

Another solution is to use the pink gloves when doing the dishes. You know the ones:

Yep. Those.

But listen. If you wear these guys while you’re doing dishes, it helps prevent your hands from getting all messed up in the first place. Trust me.

Now, you might think you’ll just go out and buy some men’s dish gloves. Something in black, with skulls and machine guns printed on them.

Those might exist. But I haven’t seen them. And this is what you get if you search for images of men’s dish gloves. Not promising. There might be a business idea in that for someone, but for now, you’re probably stuck with the pink ones.

If your lady happens to pick up some pink dish gloves, maybe try ’em out. Own it. Feel confident in your manliness as you wash the dishes with pink gloves on.

If the pink gloves thing doesn’t work out, you can always reinvigorate your manliness over at The Art of Manliness.

Given the comments I have gotten from my friend’s, I think you should have a contest send you “men’s gloves” and show them on you site for us to pick the winner! I BET you will get some intertesting entries!
